Theresa Burroughs Residential Living Incorporated was started because her youngest daughter, Toni saw a need in the community.  During the pandemic, the day centers were closed and family members had to adapt and adjust to the change of caring for their loved ones 24/7, some without breaks.

In the Greensboro community, many were not properly equipped, nor did they have the resources to hire help, if they didn't qualify for assistance.  And, there were no other options.  Toni made a decision to use property that has been in their family since 1937 to create something really amazing for the special needs community.  Therefore, her oldest sister Paula and other women with special needs would have a loving home in which to reside.

Toni contacted a few friends to ask for assistance and they all said, "YES!"  Now, we need your help to bring this vision to life.

TB Residential Living Inc.

Theresa Burroughs did a lot for her city, Greensboro, Alabama while raising four children, one with special needs. Greensboro is an under-served area with limited resources. In the 60's, Mrs. Burroughs marched with Dr. King and others during the Civil Rights Movement and helped a lot of families in Greensboro and the surrounding areas.
